- 1/2cupchopped onions
- 1cupbread crumbs -- buttered, or
- 1cuppotato chips -- crushed

Combine all remaining ingredients except bread crumbs

Alternate beef mixture with layers of macaroni in greased 2 quart casserole

Top with buttered bread crumbs or crushed potato chips
