- 1bay leaf
- 1teaspoondried oregano
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 2tablespooncorn or vegetable oil
- 2yellow onions, chopped into 1/4-inch pieces
- 2garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2tablespoonred chile powder (or more if you'd like)
