- 1(18.25 ounce) box spice cake mix
- 1/4cupbutter or margarine, melted
- 1/4cupfirmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4cupwater
- 2eggs
- 1cupconfectioners' sugar
- 1tablespoonlemon juice

Cut cherries in half

Combine dry cake mix, melted butter, brown sugar, water and eggs in a large mixing bowl

mix with a spoon or electric mixer until well combined and smooth

Stir in maraschino cherries

Spread batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan
