Mix cracker meal with salt and set aside

Heat oil for deep frying

Dip individual onion rings in egg mixture, then coat with cracker crumbs

Place in egg mixture again, and coat a second time with cracker crumbs

Carefully place onion rings in hot oil and fry until light golden
