1 egg, beaten 1 cup granulated sugar 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup oil 1 cup water 1 teaspoo

Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and mix well

Pour into a buttered 9 x 12-inch pan

Bake for 25-30 minutes (or until firm in the middle)

Cool on a rack before cutting.
