1 cup all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/3 cup butter or margarine 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar 3/4 cup butter or margarine 1

Cut in 1/3 cup butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs and starts to cling

Pat into the bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan
