Ingredients
- 11/2 cups flour
- 1/2cupgranulated sugar
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/4teaspoonsalt
- 1(12 ounce) package pitted dates, coarsely snipped with sciss
- 4tablespoon(1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 1cuporange juice, warmed
- 2tablespoongrand marnier or other orange liqueur

Have on hand a deep 9-inch baking dish

In a bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt

In another bowl, combine the dates, butter, and orange juice

Mix in the Grand Marnier, vanilla, and walnuts
