- 1/4cupbutter or margarine, melted
- 16ouncecream cheese, softened
- 2large eggs
- 21/2 cups (10 ounces) shredded monterey
- 1(4 ounce) can chopped green chiles, drained
- 1/4teaspoonground red pepper
- 1(8 ounce) carton sour cream

press onto bottom of a lightly greased 9-inch spring-form pan

Bake at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes

Cool on a wire rack

Beat all 19 ounces of cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer for 3 minutes or until fluffy
