- 2onions, thinly sliced
- 4apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1poundsausages
- 1/4cupmaple syrup

3 tablespoons butter 2 onions, thinly sliced 4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced 1 pound sausages 1/4 cup maple syrup Set oven to 350 degrees

Sauté onion and apple in butter in a large frying pan until lightly browned

Remove to a shallow baking dish

In the same pan brown the sausages well on all sides

Lay them on top of the onions and apples and pour maple syrup over the top

Bake about 30 minutes

Wonderful served with hot corn bread or Home Fries
