- 1/2cupgreen candied cherries, halved

- 3teaspoonbaking powder

Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan

Beat together sugar, shortening and eggs until well blended

Stir in kiwi, juice and cherries

Sift dry ingredients
