- 11/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2eggs
- 23/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2teaspooncream of tartar
- 1teaspoonbaking soda

Lightly grease a cookie sheet

For the crust: Cream together butter, shortening and 1 1/2 cups sugar with electric mixer

In a separate bowl, stir together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt
