   This bread is just what it says

   Good bread for those who don't like to knead and roll out biscuits and clean up the mess

   4 to 6 servings 1/4 cup shortening 2 cups self-rising flour 1 1/2 cups milk Preheat oven to 450 degrees F

   Place 1 tablespoon of shortening in an 8-inch cast iron skillet and place in oven to heat up

   In a medium bowl, combine remaining shortening, flour and milk, mixing well

   Pour immediately into hot skillet and return to over and bake for about 15 minutes until crusty brown.
