- 3/4cupsemi/sweet chocolate chips
- 11/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/4teaspoonsalt

Layer the ingredients in a one-quart wide-mouth jar in the order given

Add 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine, 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, 1 beaten egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Shape dough into balls and place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet
