- 1/2cupfirmly packed brown sugar
- 1teaspoongrated lemon peel
- 1teaspoonlemon juice
- 1cupall-purpose flour
- 1/2teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspooncinnamon

Generously grease 8-inch square pan and large bowl

Beat butter, brown sugar, lemon peel and lemon juice until light and fluffy

Add flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg to butter mixture

beat until well blended

Stir in cereal until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- 7
Press half of mixture into bottom of greased pan
- 8
Arrange peach halves, cut side down, over crust
