- 11/2 cups butter (use the real thing)
- 1cupgranulated sugar
- 1egg
- 1teaspoonvanilla extract
- 3cupall-purpose flour
- 1teaspoonbaking powder
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1cuppecan flour, or finely ground pecans

To make 1 cup pecan flour, process 1 1/4 pecans in the bowl of a blender

A small food processor will do the trick as well

1 1/2 cups butter (use the real thing) 1 cup granulated sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking po

Blend butter and sugar
