Make a dent in center of each ball

Bake 5 minutes at 300 degrees F on greased cookie sheet, then make a deeper dent and bake 15 minutes longer

When cooled, fill dents with butter frosting and top with a piece of candied cherry

This cookie keeps quite well and can be frozen (unfilled), then filled just before serving.
