1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 cup granulated sugar 1 egg 1 tablespoon grated orange rind 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon sal

Add egg and orange rind

Sift together flour, salt and baking soda

add to creamed mixture

Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth

Shape into 2 oval rolls, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter

Wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight in fridge
