- 2cupsemisweet chocolate chips
- 2squares unsweetened chocolate
- 2tablespoonbutter
- 2eggs
- 2/3cupgranulated sugar
- 1/4cupflour
- 1teaspoonvanilla extract
- 1/4teaspoonbaking powder

In a medium heavy saucepan, heat half of the chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate and butter until melted and smooth stirring occasionally

Remove from heat and cool slightly

Add eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla extract and baking powder

Beat until thoroughly combined

Stir in remaining chocolate pieces and nuts

Drop by rounded teaspoonsful 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm and tops are dull and cracked
