- 1/4cupsolid shortening
- 2eggs, beaten
- 2/3cuplight brown sugar
- 2/3cupgranulated sugar
- 4cupbisquick®
- 1teaspoonvanilla extract
- 1(12 ounce) package chocolate chips

Stir in eggs and mix well

Stir in Bisquick®, then vanilla extract, chocolate chips and nuts

Drop by teaspoonsful onto baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for about 8 minutes

Do not overbake or cookies will be hard

Cookies should be slightly soft and chewy
