- 1cup(2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2cupplus 10 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
- 3eggs, lightly beaten
- 11/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Lightly grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and set aside

Sift flour with salt, baking soda and baking powder
