- 1/2cupgranulated sugar

- 1cupfinely shredded carrots
- 3/4cupchopped pecans or walnuts

8 ounces bittersweet chocolate 1/2 cup unsalted butter 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon salt 3 eggs 1 cup finel

Melt chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water

Stir to blend, then remove from heat and set aside

Sift flour, sugar and salt into a large bowl
