- 1/4cupunsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2cupchopped pecans
- 1cupall-purpose flour
- 3/4teaspoonbaking powder

- 1/4cupchocolate chips

Place sugar in bottom of a 1-quart canning jar (the kind with the wide mouth)

Layer the remaining ingredients on top of sugar: cocoa, flour mixture, pecans and chocolate chips

Attach these baking instructions to the jar: When ready to prepare brownies pour contents of jar into a large mixing bowl and blend well

Add 1/2 cup margarine or butter and 3 eggs, slightly beaten
