In medium mixer bowl, cream together butter and sugar

beat in eggs

Stir in flour, vanilla extract and nuts

Spread into lightly greased 8- or 9-inch square baking pan

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean
