- 1/2teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/2teaspoonground cinnamon
- 1medium tart apple, peeled and chopped

Add the egg

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon

gradually add to the creamed mixture, beating just until combined

Stir in apple and walnuts

Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking dish

Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean
