- 20to 25 maraschino cherries
- 20to 25 chocolate chips, plus 1 cup chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar well

Add vanilla extract, flour and salt

Stuff each cherry with a chocolate chip, then wrap in 1 teaspoon dough

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 to 15 minutes

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over low heat or in the microwave, and dip top of cookies into melted chocolate.
