- 1/2c shortening
- 1/2c brown sugar
- 1ts cinnamon
- 1pk yellow cake mix
- 2c oatmeal
- 1c raisins (optional)
- 1/2c nuts; chopped

chopped Preheat oven to 375 degrees Beat first 6 ingredients and 1/2 of the cake mix

Stir in remaining cake mix, oatmeal, raisins and nuts

Drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet
