- 1/2c chocolate chips
- 1/4c nuts; optional

Beat egg whites, cream of tarter and salt together until soft peaks form

Add vanilla, then add sugar gradually, beating until stiff

Fold in choc

Drop by teaspoon fulls 2 inches apart on ungreased brown paper layed on cookie sheet
