- 2ts baking powder
- 1ts salt
- 1c shortening
- 2c sugar
- 4eggs; well beaten
- 1c milk
- 1ts vanilla extract

Cream Sugar and shortening until fluffy

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together

Beat eggs very well then add milk and vanilla and mix well

Beat egg mixture into sugar mixture alternately with flour mixture
