sifted 1 ts Vanilla Boiling water COOKIE: Cream butter and sugar together

add egg and milk, beat until light

Stir flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt

BY HAND, blend into creamed mixture

Using rounded teaspoon for each cookie, roll on floured surface to from a 6 inch rope
