   1 1/2 c Sugar 1 c Cake flour 12 Egg whites 2 ts Cream of tartar 1 ts Vanilla extract 1/8 ts Salt 6 Lemon rose geranium leaves

   Sift 3/4 c

   In a large mixing bowl, combine egg whites with the cream of tartar, vanilla and salt

   Beat until soft peaks begin to form

   Do not overbeat

   mixture should be stiff but not dry
