- 3/4c light brown sugar
- 1ea lemon -- juice of
- 2ea eggs -- beaten
- 21/2 c flour -- sifted
- 1t baking soda
- 1/2ts nutmeg
- 1/2ts cloves

Beat in egg

Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture

Add citron and nuts and let stand one day (covered)

Roll out dough 1/2 inch thick and cut into fancy shapes
