- 2c whole wheat pastry flour
- 1ts cinnamon
- 1/2ts nutmeg
- 1/4ts cloves
- 1c raisins
- 1c walnuts; coarsely chopped
- 1/2c butter

coarsely chopped 1/2 c Butter 2/3 c Honey 2 ts Baking soda Warm applesauce over low heat

Mix together the flour, spices, raisins, and walnuts in a mixing bowl

Melt the butter in a small pot and mix in the honey

Stir into the dry ingredients

Stir the baking soda into the hot applesauce

This will foam up in a spectacular fashion

Add the batter in the bowl and mix thoroughly
