Ingredients

- 1c firmly packed light brown
- 2eggs
- 2ts fresh lemon juice
- 2ts vanilla extract
- 41/2 c all-purpose flour
- 1/4ts baking powder
- 1/4ts baking soda

Add the eggs and beat until well combined

Beat in the lemon juice and vanilla

Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom, nuts, salt, and cinnamon, then stir the dry ingredients into the margarine mix

Shape the dough into a long cylinder and refrigerate overnight

THE DOUGH CAN BE FROZEN AT THIS POINT

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees

Slice the cookie dough paper thin, 1/8 inch is best, and arrange on a baking sheet
