Georgia Peach Cream Pie
3/4 c sugar 2 tb flour 3 tb cornstarch 1/4 ts salt 2 c milk 2 well beaten egg yolks 1 tb butter 1 ts lemon juice 2 c sliced fresh peaches 1 baked pie shell Sweetened whipped cream

- 3tb cornstarch
- 1/4ts salt
- 2c milk
- 2well beaten egg yolks
- 1tb butter
- 1ts lemon juice
Directions

Add milk slowly and cook over boiling water until mixture begins to thicken

Add well-beaten egg yolks and butter and cook until mixture thickens

Add lemon juice and cool

Arrange 1 cup sliced peaches in pie shell

Pour in filling and top with remaining peaches

Chill thoroughly and top with sweetened whipped cream.
