- 3tablespoons cornstarch
- 1tablespoonlemon juice
- 5peaches -- large ripe
- 19" pie shell -- baked

3/4 cup Sugar 3 tablespoons Cornstarch 1/2 cup Sugar 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Salt 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg 5 Peaches -- large ripe Red food colo

Finely chop or crush three of the peaches

Add these to cornstarch mixture

Blend in food coloring
- 5
Bring to boiling point, reduce heat and simmer until mixture is thick and clear

Stir it constantly during the cooking period

Slice remaining peaches, arrange them on bottom of baked pie shell

Sprinkle with about 1/4th cup of sugar
