- 6ozunsweetened chocolate
- 2Sticks unsalted butter
- 6eggs
- 21/2 c granulated sugar
- 2ts vanilla extract
- 13/4 c all-purpose flour -- sifted
- 1/2ts salt
- 2c chopped walnuts -- optional

Butter a 10x15-inch baking sheet (jellyroll pan)

Dust with flour and shake out excess

Melt the chocolate and butter in a small saucepan over VERY low heat, or in the top of a double boiler
