- 1c raisins
- 2level tbsp. drippings
- 1/2ts salt
- 11/2 c sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4ts soda
- 1/2ts ginger
Directions

Sift together flour, soda, ginger and cinnamon

Stir into the cooled cooked mixture

Bake 1 hour at 350F in a greased loaf pan

To make a delicious fruit cake add a cup of chopped dates, 1 cup mixed peel, 1/2 cup nuts or drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet and bake
