- 2tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/3cansugar
- 1canlight or dark corn syrup
- 3eggs -- slightly beaten
- 1teaspoonvanilla
- 11/4 cups pecan halves
- 1unbaked pie shell

Stir until chocolate is completely melted

Stir in sugar, syrup, eggs and vanilla until well blended
