- 1/2c granulated sugar
- 1c brown sugar; packed
- 1c shortening
- 2eggs
- 2ts vanilla

In small bowl, combine flour, unsifted, baking soda and salt

Set aside

In a second bowl, combine shortening, white and brown sugar, vanilla and eggs
