- 2tspbaking powder
- 1/2tspbaking soda
- 1/2tspground cinnamon
- 1/4tspground nutmeg
- 1/4tspsalt
- 1c buttermilk
- 2lg eggs

Spreay 12 regular-size muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray or place 12 foil cupcakes liners on a cookie sheet

In a 2-3 quart bowl, stir flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices and salt until blended

Pour over flour mixture and stir just until mixed

Spoon into muffin cups or foil cupcake liners

Sprinkle with the 1 tbsp sugar

Bake 25-30 minutes or until tops are lightly browned and muffins are springy to the touch
