- 3/4c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2ts baking soda
- 1/4ts salt
- 3/4c butter
- 11/2 c firmly packed light brown
- 1t vanilla
- 1c unsalted peanuts, chopped

Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt onto wax paper

Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a medium-size bowl with electric mixer until fluffy

Stir in dry ingredients
