- 1/2cup onion -- chopped
- 1cup water
- 2cup chicken broth
- 2cup milk -- scalded
- 3tbspbutter
- 1cup sour cream

Do not drain

Press it through a sieve

Add milk and butter

Mix sour cream with flour until smooth

Add to soup, and cook stirring constantly, until thickened
