Rocky Road Cookies
1/2 c Margarine or butter 1 c Semisweet chocolate chips 1 1/2 c Gold Medal all-purpose flour 1 c Sugar 1 c Chopped nuts 1/2 ts Baking powder 1/2 ts Vanilla 1/4 ts Salt 2 ea Eggs
Ingredients
- 1/2cup margarine or butter
- 1cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 11/2 c gold medal all-purpose flour
- 1cup sugar
- 1cup chopped nuts
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1/2tsp vanilla
- 1/4tsp salt

Heat margarine and 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips in 1 qt

saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted

remove from heat and cool

Mix remaining chocolate chips, the melted chocolate mixture and remaining ingredients except marshmallows

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet

Press 1 marshmallow in center of each Bake about 8 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched

Immediately remove from cookie sheet
