- 1cup brown sugar
- 2eggs
- 2cup flour
- 11/2 ts cinnamon
- 1/2tsp cloves
- 1tsp baking powder*
- 8ozraisins

Preheat oven to 375?

In a large bowl, cream butter with sugar and eggs until fluffy

In a separate bowl, sift flour with cinnamon and cloves

Slowly beat flour into butter and sugar

Add the dissolved baking soda

Stir in raisins, dates and nuts
