- 13/4 c sugar
- 1tb baking powder
- 1/2ts salt
- 1c vegetable oil
- 2jars apricot baby food
- 3eggs
- 2ts vanilla

soft 2 tb Sour cream 2 tb Brandy OR bourbon Preheat oven to 350~

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, oil, baby food, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and cloves in mixing bowl and beat at medium speed for 2

Pour into two greased and floured 8" round pans

Bake 30 to 35 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center fomes out clean

Let cool in pans

Remove layers from pans and sandwich together with apricot preserves

Spread top and sides of cake with frosting
