- 2ts baking soda
- 21/4 c all purpose flour
- 1/2ts ground cloves
- 1ts cinnamon

Add applesauce in which soda has been dissolved

Sift in flour, spices and salt

add raisins and nuts

Drop several inches apart onto greased baking sheet
