- 1/3c brown sugar -- packed
- 6tb butter -- softened
- 1pk cream cheese -- 8 oz at room

- 1/2ts vanilla
- 4tb almonds -- chopped

Cut in butter until mixture forms fine crumbs

Reserve 1 cup crumb mixture for topping
