- 2/3cup evaporated milk
- 1/4cup butter or margarine
- 11/2 c sugar
- 1/4tsp salt
- 12ozsemisweet chocolate pieces
- 1tsp vanilla
- 1/2cup chopped nuts

Cook and stir until mixture comes to full boil

Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly

Remove from heat and add chocolate pieces, beating until melted

Do not overbeat

Fold in vanilla and nuts
