- 1/3cup packed brown sugar
- 1cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/2cup chopped walnuts
- 8ozcream cheese, softened
- 1/4cup granulated sugar
- 1tsp vanilla
- 1ea large egg

Beat margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy

Add flour and walnuts, mix well

Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture

press remaining crumb mixture into bottom of 8-inch square pan
