Easy Fruit Cake (Ovo)
1/2 c Apple sauce 3/4 c Water 1/2 c Sugar. 2 1/2 c Mixed dried fruit. (I like to use half Currants, half raisins.) 2 Egg whites or equivalent, Lightly beaten. 1 1/2 c White flour.

Place the apple sauce, water, sugar, and dried fruit in a saucepan

Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes, then allow to cool

Set the oven at 300 deg F (cool)
